Au pair-Trip: Boat Tour & Hiking in the National Park

March 29 @ 9:00 am - 7:00 pm

We travel by hired bus to the shore of the LOWER KILLARNEY LAKE in the KILLARNEY NATIONAL PARK. Two small motorboats take us across the lake into the Killarney River and upstream though the woodlands and the mountains of the National Park until we reach the famous UPPER LAKE. At the very end of this long-stretched body of water we disembark and have tea, coffee and a snack at a former hunter’s lodge – while we enjoy the view over the lakes, the mountains and its wildlife.

Then we walk on a trail along the lake shore through pristine oak forest back to the road where our bus will be waiting for us. Our bus then takes us to the southern coast line of the Kerry peninsula before we turn inland again to the romantic lake of GOUGANE BARRA, the source of the river Lee in West Cork.

Spaces are limited and a deposit is required to reserve your place on this trip.
